A two day, on-river course focused on tenkara techniques developed by Masami Sakakibara, aka “Oni”. Students will learn how to break down the river into manageable fishing sections and develop skills to manipulate the fly appropriately to intrigue a trout. Fishing will be on the fertile waters of the Provo River, a blue ribbon fishery in Utah’s Wasatch mountains.

Three sessions will be offered:

Session 1, August 10-11, 2024

Session 2, August 13-14, 2024

Session 3, August 17-18, 2024
